Automatic washing filter cloth filter press saves labor, water resource and filter cloth washing time

 

The automatic water flushing filter press is capable of realizing the automatic control of various processes such as filter plate pressing, filtration, pressing, backblowing, washing, filter plate loosening, unloading and water washing. This model is equipped with diaphragm plate, and after filtration, the volume of filter chamber is changed by water pressure or air pressure to press the filter cake and further reduce the water content of filter cake.

 

Generally, the filter press is used to clean the filter cloth manually after working for one day or one week, but with the automatic water flushing system, the filter press can clean the filter cloth automatically after each filtration cycle is completed. Automatic water rinsing filter cloth solves the problem of difficult to rinse the filter cloth and frequent replacement of filter cloth. At the same time, it saves labor, water resources and cloth washing time, makes the filter cloth more permeable, improves the filtration efficiency and prolongs the service life of the filter cloth.

 

 

The main structure of automatic washing filter cloth filter press is divided into: frame, compression mechanism, filtration mechanism is composed of three parts.

 

1,Frame

 

The frame is the basic part of the filter press, the two ends of the thrust plate and compression head, both sides of the beam will be connected to the two, the beam is used to support the filter plate, filter frame and compression plate. In order to meet the needs of advanced sanitation, the frame needs to be wrapped in stainless steel.

 

2,Filter press pressing mechanism

 

Manual pressure, mechanical pressure, hydraulic pressure.

A. Manual pressing: the screw-type mechanical jack pushes the pressing plate to press the filter plate.

B. Mechanical compression: the compression mechanism consists of motor (equipped with advanced overload protector) reducer, gears, silk rod and fixed

C. Hydraulic compression: hydraulic compression mechanism consists of hydraulic station, cylinder, piston, piston rod.

 

3, filter press filtering mechanism

 

Filtering mechanism consists of filter plate, filter frame, filter cloth, press diaphragm, filter plate on both sides by the filter cloth covered, need to configure the press diaphragm, a set of filter plate by the diaphragm plate and side plate composition. The base plate of diaphragm plate is covered with rubber diaphragm on both sides, the outside of diaphragm is covered with filter cloth, and the side plate is the common filter plate. The material enters the filter chamber through the holes on the thrust plate, the solid particles are retained in the filter chamber because their particle size is larger than the aperture of the filter medium (filter cloth), and the filtrate flows out from the outlet holes under the filter plate. When the filter cake needs to be squeezed dry, in addition to the diaphragm press, compressed air or steam can also be used, from the washing port into the airflow to flush away the water in the cake to reduce the water content of the cake.

Filtration Principle

The filter cloth acts as a medium that allows the liquid to pass through while retaining the solids. The result is the formation of filter cakes within the chambers and the collection of filtrate, enabling effective solid-liquid separation.

  1. Filtration: The filter press applies pressure to the slurry by either hydraulic or mechanical means. This pressure forces the liquid portion of the slurry to pass through the filter cloth while retaining the solid particles within the chambers.
  2. Cake Formation: As the liquid passes through the filter cloth, a layer of solid particles, known as the filter cake, forms on the surface of the cloth within each chamber.
  3. Filtrate Collection: The liquid portion of the slurry, called the filtrate, passes through the filter cloth and collects in a drainage system or collection channel.
  4. Cloth Cleaning: Over time, the filter cloths may become clogged with accumulated solids, reducing filtration efficiency. Periodic cleaning or replacement of the filter cloths is necessary to maintain the performance of the chamber filter press.
